Invasive Plant Species Training – In-person

A 1 hr in-person training session aimed primarily at members of Team Tawd, with an optional 1 hr site walkaround afterward.

This training session will provide an introduction to the main invasive plant species of concern at Tawd Vale, including their presence and our management strategy:

• Rhododendron
• Himalayan balsam
• Japanese knotweed
• Giant hogweed

This training is for:

• members of the Estates Team from the Tawd Vale Active Support Unit (mandatory)
• other members of the Tawd Vale Active Support Unit (optional)
• other members of Merseyside Scouts who may be interested
