Fancy joining our team? We're all about adventure.
Ensuring that Tawd Vale is the Centre of Adventure for many thousands of young people every year is a large task, and one that our Centre Manager cannot achieve alone.
We're looking for adventure seeking volunteers to join our existing team, across a number of rewarding and fulfilling roles.
The County Executive Committee and Tawd Vale Steering Group are responsible for the governance of the Centre and will take responsibility for strategic plans. The operational leadership of the Centre will be managed by the Centre Manager, supported by an Operational Leadership Team of lead volunteers.
We are now searching for the following lead volunteers to take on a number of key roles within this Operational Leadership Team:
- Duty Warden Lead
- Estate Lead
- Facilities Lead
- Activities Lead
- Events Lead
- Shop Lead
- Media and Communications Lead
- Tawd Vale Scout Active Support Unit Lead
Please click on the above links to download the role descriptions.
In addition, we are always on the look out for Duty Wardens to join our team.
How to nominate?

Pete Richardson, Centre Manager
Please also get in touch with Pete if you'd like to find out more about any of these roles, before deciding whether or not to express an interest.
By when should I express an interest?
Closing date for nominations: Friday 14th June 2019.
How will the team operate?
Every three months there will be a whole team meeting, a part team meeting and one-to-one meetings. However, we very much want the Operational Leadership Team to evolve how the team works together to make the most of the great opportunities that exist for young people at Tawd Vale.
What plans are there beyond these roles?
Eventually each 'Area Lead' will have an 'Assistant' and a 'Shadow' (aged under 25 to encourage longevity to the centre and roles). All volunteers will be able to access and support any or all areas however they wish (although training may be required).
